Abstract
The process of decomposition of methane gas hydrate at atmospheric pressure,
which is in a superheated state with respect to the equilibrium temperature Ts = 193 K is considered.
positive temperature values (T > 273 K). In the region of positive temperatures,
that the rate of decomposition is determined by the intensity of the heat flux through the flowing layer of water
a film formed by the decomposition of a hydrate. Calculations were carried out for various initial and
boundary temperatures, the results of which were analyzed and compared with the available
experimental data
